Our pottery classes, taught by owner/studio
potter Chuck Koucky, will give you a familiarity
with clay and its creative possibilities.
Beginning level students will have time on the potter’s wheel, slab roller
and extruder. These classes will also explore hand-building techniques to
include coil work, “pinch pots” and drape molding. Intermediate and Advanced
Students will be offered instruction in specialized techniques.
Raku firing can be taught in all levels.
Classes are small to allow each student time with Chuck for individual
instruction.
Class Schedule
7 week sessions.
Classes are held on Tuesday mornings and afternoons and Wednesday
mornings.
* Tuesday evening or Wednesday afternoon sessions can be
arranged for groups of four or more. These must be scheduled in
advance with a small deposit required - please inquire.
Our classes are done for the 2010-1011
season
They
will begin again in late September 2011- actual dates will
be posted soon.
